Color Monte
Show three cards; one
with a blue spot and two with a red spot. Explain that
this is a game for gambling, and whoever finds the blue
spot wins a dollar, but if that person is wrong, he must
forfeit a dollar. Then explain that you were once taken by
this game, and show how you were taken, losing seven
dollars because every time you thought you had chosen
correctly, you were wrong. Although you wanted to quit,
the gambler gave you another chance to break even, double
or nothing. He showed you that one card was red, another
as blue, and all you had to do was name the color of the
third card. Red, right? Wrong again! It's not red, nor is
it anything anyone would expect!

X-Deck
Magician explains he
dreamed of the spectator last night! In the dream the very
person before him called out a card from a 52 card deck.
The dream was so vivid the magician took out a deck of
cards this morning and drew a big X on the card the
spectator called out in his dream. To see if dreams come
true he asks the spectator to call out any card at all.
The moment the spectator calls out the card, the magician
goes through the deck, finds the card, has the spectator
remove it only to find it is the only card in the deck
with a big X drawn on it!

Die-Cipher
II
Magic's favorite pocket
trick just got better! A brass canister, lid & die are
examined. As you look away, a spectator puts the die in
the canister, remembers the number on top, & covers
with the lid. You turn around, concentrate, then reveal
the number on the die! No questions. No fishing. This
clever device gives you all the information. Thanks to
Chuck Leach's improvement in the design, you no longer
need to turn the box over to discern the number. In fact,
you don't even need to touch it! Don't confuse Die-Cipher
II with the various versions of Mental Die. This is much
better! Die-Cipher II tells you the exact number selected!

Incredible Pocket Miracle
Twenty cards are shown as
all different. Spectator takes 10 cards and puts them in
her pocket. Another spectator merely glances at the
remaining 10 cards and memorizes one. The magician then
states he will read the mind of the second spectator, make
his selected card disappear, toss the invisible card
through the air and into the first spectator's pocket, and
finally pick the first spectators pocket in a split second
so they will both wind up with 10 cards. The magician
verifies the selected card is still in his hand, seemingly
tosses an invisible card through the air, and an instant
later reveals the selected card in the spectators pocket
and no longer in his hand!

Locked Deck
A card is selected and
lost back in the deck. The entire deck has a hole drilled
through it. Spectator puts a padlock through the entire
deck and locks it. There is no way for the selected card
to escape, yet it does! It can be reproduced from anywhere
you'd like.

A
Pair of Balls
Magician produces
a pair of balls from his pocket. He explains that they are
magic balls that can do wondrous things. He keeps one of
his balls gripped tightly in his hand while he hands the
other to a lady in the group. In a flash the ball in the
magician's hand vanishes and appears with the other ball
in the spectators hand. All can be examined.

Hot Rod
Brass
Display a rod with six
different colored dots on both sides. The spectator names
a number between 1 and 6. Count to that color (blue for
example). Give a quick shake and all the dots turn blue.
Want to try again? Shake the dots back to their
multicolored beginning. Choose another number, counting
once again. Another shake and all the dots change red! May
be handed out for examination.

Zig Zag Cigarette
Take a straight, sturdy,
solid cigarette, and divide it into three pieces – then
magically restore it in the blink of an eye, and take a
magician's bow. Even Solomon couldn't have pulled this one
off! But you'll do it easily, thanks to the magic of the
Zig Zag Cigarette; you'll be the talk of the wizarding
world. Instructions included.
